School Development Day

School development days enable staff to undertake professional learning and collaborative planning that is imperative to our collective improvement. These are days where students do NOT attend school. We have 6 days across the 2020 school year which are scheduled for the following dates:

  • Thursday 30 January
  • Friday 31 January
  • Tuesday 28 April
  • Monday 20 July
  • Monday 9 November
  • Friday 4 December
  • Friday 18 December

School Day Times

For the 2020 school year and beyond we have made an adjustment to the school day start time that will see our day begin at 8.50am. This five-minute adjustment will also see classrooms open at 8.35am and at the same time students can participate in the games on the quadrangle each morning. Prior to 8.35am all students must remain on the verandah in front of their classroom.

The best thing you can do to support your child/ren is to be on time in the morning. This means arriving before 8.50am so that your child/ren have time to say hello to friends, organise themselves for the day ahead, and settle into a positive mindset before the day begins.

If your child/ren arrive after 8.50am, you/they will need to come to the front office to sign-in and get a late note.
